Summary
Overview
The two year residential Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery Diploma Course, which started in the Year 1983 is affiliated to the Maharashtra Nursing Council as well as the All India Nursing Council. Three decades of successfully training women in the crucial nursing and healthcare sector in India has resulted in more than 700 women qualifying to earn a livelihood through WIT. The full capacity of this program is 20 students. New Admissions are taken on an annual basis.
The WIT Nursing School has to its credit a qualifying rate of 100% of which more than 95% are currently employed. At WIT, we are committed to improving the quality of education as well as the quality of patient care and medical services in India.
The Nursing School is a centre of excellence which enriches the education and employment process for girls by introducing a wider spectrum of programmes for the faculty as well as the students. Faculty are offered regular workshops on relevant subjects, methodology of teaching and training programmes. Faculty also network with other Medical Institutes and professionals for further growth.
